Most frequent questions and answers

For young children, workbook and textbook are a must have. For adults and teenagers it can be optional, you can have all the material in a PDF format or in hardcopy. In both cases your teacher will provide every detail and information for the lesson you may need.

No, we try to find the way due to mutual understanding for both teachers’ and students’ timelines. Although student’s preferences are a priority for us.

Our students receive the readers and workbooks in a PDF format for free. For adult’s and teenager’s General Greek your teacher will inform you about the materials needed

In order to cancel or reschedule a private lesson students need to contact the teacher at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. Otherwise after the second last minute cancellation students will be charged for the lesson.

A semi private lesson can only be canceled when both/all of the students involving want to cancel or reschedule the lesson. If at least one of the students wants to have the lesson, it is recorded and the rest take the recording of the missing class.

In order to have a lesson you need to have a high speed Internet connection. Although in case our connection fails, then we will reschedule another day and time to have the rest of the remaining lesson. In case Internet fails from student’s side please note that we are not responsible for that.

Digital pen is optional for teenager’s and adult’s classes because they can use the keyboard or write on their workbook and textbook. For preschoolers and young children a digital pen is needed in order for them to write on the board, except textbooks and workbooks(please notice that in any situation, there it is always a way to conduct a very interactive Greek lesson).

Every material -workbook textbook whiteboard- you are going to use in your classroom, all are going to be saved and shared with you in your personal Google Drive folder in a PDF format.

The time in the day of the lesson are always a result of an agreement between the teacher and the student. We try to prioritize our student’s needs and find the perfect day and time that’s convenient for both.

We suggest that adult and teenager students should have their private lessons twice per week and young children and preschoolers once a week. However the scheduling for a private lesson, depends on the student’s needs.

In order to book a free trial lesson with us you only need to fill all the details asked in the “book your trial lesson” sector in our site. Shortly we will contact you sending all the necessary information and instructions in order to schedule and conduct your free trial lesson.

All our lessons are based in Greek history, culture, tradition and way of living. Our goal is not only to teach the Greek language, but also to bring our students closer to Greece and Greek’s way of living.

Parents can get informed about their kid’s progress during private meetings with the teacher. Parents and teachers agree to a specific day and time per month or twice per month, in order to meet and discuss about the children’s progress. Although parents are free to ask the teacher in case of any questions or concerns they may have anytime.

If the teacher cancels the lesson in less than 24 hours prior to the class, the teacher will reschedule the lesson and we will offer it as an extra free lesson for the student. Sometimes, if the student agrees, supplement teachers may cover if necessary. For both cases of students and teachers canceling the lesson in more than 24 hours before the class the lesson is rescheduled for another day and time that suits both the student and the teacher.
